Bring your extended family and/or friends to Destin and stay with us for a vacation to remember. Seize the day and relish the cool ocean breezes from our very private backyard with a pool. You can enjoy lounging by the pool, eat by pool or on the screened porch that overlooks the pool. The children will go back and forth from the pool to the Cabana/playhouse. Then just a short stroll to the beautiful beaches on a sidewalk through the charm of Destin’s Crystal Beach neighborhood will put you on the beach. Feast your eyes on the beauty of the emerald coast waters and dig your toes deep in the white sand of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You are in Destin, Florida-your home away from home.
Our completely furnished vacation home of over 2300 square feet has three bedrooms, a loft and two bathrooms as well as a Cabana/playhouse where the children can hang out by the pool and play games or nap on the futon. The large master bedroom features a king-size bed as well as a sofa and large chairs to relax and get away. Relax in the garden whirlpool tub after a day at the beach, playing golf, or shopping in Destin’s large outlet mall or the nearby Destin Commons Shopping Center.
The large master bedroom on the 1st floor is private and separated from the other bedrooms by the 2nd or main floor. The master bedroom features a king size bed as well as two recliners, a sleeper couch and a large flat screened television. Just the place for a couple to get away from the children for some private time. There are two bedrooms on the third floor both with queen size beds. A loft with a sleeper sofa is great for extra sleeping or watching television and visiting. The bedrooms and the loft open to private decks one with an ocean view. The decorative beach colors will enhance your sense of fun and have you dreaming of the beautiful Destin beaches.
While you are at BJ’s Crystal Beach House you will find a fully-equipped kitchen with a door ice/water dispenser refrigerator, and all the equipment you will need for a party of 12. The kitchen is part of a large great room with two sitting areas, two dining areas and an island that has bar stools. This porcelain tiled great room opens to a large wrap around deck as well as a screened porch that overlooks the pool and backyard. You can enjoy the ocean breezes and not worry about bugs on the screened porch. The dining areas and island allow everyone in your party to eat together. The great room has a sleeper sofa. Want to watch TV or a DVD? Then you will enjoy it on the 32 inch flat screen television or watch DVDs or videos with a stocked DVD, VCR, and CD library. You may want to listen to music on the stereo.
Enjoy the ocean breezes while you grill on the large gas grill or use the charcoal Weber grill on the deck off the great room. The decorative theme of BJ’s Crystal Beach House will make you enjoy the beach feeling even while you are in the house.
The children can go out to the Cabana/Playhouse and enjoy the Nintendo or other games while everyone else is inside or by the pool. Maybe a nap or a sleepover in the playhouse with the grown-ups close by is allowed. What fun - a place "just for kids"!
We have wagon for the beach as well as beach chairs, and various toys for the beach. High speed internet.
